Cookie Policy
Last updated
This Cookie Policy explains how Novapex Studio ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on novapexstudio.com (the "Site"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember things between page views, such as a setting you chose or whether you have passed a security check. "Similar technologies" means things that work in a comparable way: local storage, pixels, scripts, software development kits and device identifiers. Cookies can be first-party (set by this Site) or third-party (set by another company whose content or code appears on the Site), and session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent (kept until they expire or you delete them).
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary. Needed for the Site to work and stay secure, or to remember a choice you made on this Site. They do not need consent.
- Analytics. Help us understand which pages are useful. We do not currently use analytics cookies.
- Advertising. Set by Google AdSense and its partners to show and measure ads, and, with your consent, to personalise them. The Site currently shows no advertising, so no advertising cookies are set.
We do not use cookies for social-media tracking, and we never read cookies set by other websites.
3. Cookies and similar technologies on this Site
Durations are typical values published by each provider and may change; follow the provider link for the current list.
| Provider | Name | Category | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Novapex Studio (this site) | theme (local storage) | Strictly necessary | Remembers whether you chose the dark or light theme. Stored in your browser only; never sent to us. | Until you clear site data |
| Cloudflare | __cf_bm, cf_clearance | Strictly necessary | Bot detection, DDoS protection and security challenges that keep the site available. | 30 minutes to 1 year |
4. How consent works (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Because the Site currently sets only strictly necessary cookies, no consent banner is shown. If we add advertising or analytics cookies, visitors from the EEA, UK and Switzerland will see a Google-certified consent message before any such cookie is set, and this policy will be updated first.
5. How to change your choices
- Cookie settings. The "Cookie settings" link in the footer will reopen the consent message once advertising is enabled. Until then there is nothing to change beyond your browser settings.
- Google ad personalisation. Turn personalised ads on or off for your Google account or browser in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors at aboutads.info, youronlinechoices.eu or networkadvertising.org.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information where the law requires it.
- Browser controls. Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, and block third-party cookies entirely. See the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Chrome on Android. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.
- Mobile devices. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in Android (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads) and iOS (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
6. Changes and contact
We update this policy when the cookies we use change; the "Last updated" date shows the current version. Questions about cookies: [email protected].
